8th TAMUQ Annual Research and Industry Showcase (17 April, 2019)

• Posters should be registered online on or before Thursday March 14, 2019.
• Abstract submission is not required for poster presentation.
• There are no templates for the poster.
• The poster should be designed for A0 size and portrait orientation
• It is required that each poster displayed should have a researcher/student available next to it during the event. Hence, nominated researchers/students presenting the poster need to register (http://research.tamu.qa/).
• The presenters will be responsible for printing their own A0 sized posters on glossy/matt paper. The printed posters should not be foam mounted.
• Posters that are result of NPRP (or UREP, NPRP-EX, JSREP, YSREP) should duly acknowledge QNRF support and funding somewhere on the poster using the standard statement as highlighted below:

“This publication was made possible by the NPRP award [NPRP X-XXX-X-XXX] from the Qatar National Research Fund (a member of The Qatar Foundation). The statements made herein are solely the responsibility of the author[s].”

In the above example acknowledgement, change the NPRP to whatever project type is applicable to your work being presented.

• The printed A0 posters (i.e. hard copies) should be submitted to Dr. Wubulikasimu Yiming on or before 4 of April, 2019.
• For the printed posters submitted on or before the aforesaid deadline, stands will be provided on the day of the event to display the same.
